About the role
As Executive Assistant to CFO you will be supporting the Chief Financial Officer with the appropriate scheduling and prioritisation of time, provision of necessary data and information, and generally assuming all logistical and administrative and communications necessary.
The ideal candidate has the capacity to think strategically and is organized, detail-oriented and polished. This role must anticipate the CFO’s needs while providing seamless, confidential, administrative co-ordination, project management and personal support.
This role must be able to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and professionalism at all times and organise their workflow to ensure the CFO’s priorities are supported appropriately. The selected candidate must be as capable of communicating effectively with the board of directors, as well as internal and external stakeholders.
This role may require occasional travel to support the CFO’s engagements and priorities.
Responsibilities
- Compose and type agendas and correspondence for special events, board meetings, committee meetings and development activities
- Manage calendars - arrange, coordinate and prioritise complex scheduling and logistics
- Assist with presentation and report preparation
- Manage, advise and respond to Directors day to day requests (e.g. communications, queries, leadership responses, follow up etc.) ensuring that meetings are properly prepared for, key stakeholders are briefed and actions followed up upon
- Arrange internal and external meetings in accordance with Executive’s priorities
Requirements
- Problem solving & Analytical Thinking
- Strong written and verbal communication Bilingual English/German
- Trustworthy and Discreet with sensitive and confidential information
- Entrepreneurial spirit combined with natural leadership skills. Effective project management skills
- Strong understanding of business processes, operations, and organizational systems and structures
- Flexible, driven, team-oriented and willing to take the lead to ensure successful completion of projects and tasks
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- Professional with a friendly and positive disposition
