Position summary
As an M&A Manager with our fast-growing technology company, you'll be part of a very dynamic team. Your role will be instrumental in shaping our organization's future growth. Additionally, you'll have the unique opportunity to regularly engage with successful entrepreneurs, further enriching your professional experience.
The position is based in Baar (Zug). In this role, you will report directly to and collaborate closely with the Head of M&A.
Responsibilities
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Evaluate potential acquisition targets opportunities in line with the company's strategic goals.
- Manage the main aspects of the M&A process including valuation, due diligence and SPA negotiation.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders such as finance, legal, tax, HR, and operations teams to ensure all aspects of the transaction are considered and managed effectively.
- Manage relationships with external advisors, including investment banks, law firms, and accounting firms.
- Prepare investment cases for the board presenting the key aspects of the deal opportunities.
- Manage and provide coaching to the senior analysts of the M&A team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.
Requirements
Your will need to have:
- An excellent academic background and degree from a top tier university.
- Ideally 5-7 years of professional experience in M&A, coming from a M&A boutique or the Big 4 (M&A or transaction services) or a similar position in a corporate M&A Team.
- A comprehensive understanding of the entire deal cycle from origination to completion.
- An interest in the tech industry (affiliate marketing, crypto, Apps…).
- Great project management and coaching skills as well as a structured way of working.
- A positive, solution-oriented mindset, with a start-up mentality, self-drive, and strong team spirit.
- Excellent communication skills in English, proficiency in additional languages would be an advantage.
- Valid work authorization in Switzerland.
